Stag, yes, it is very much a "wow this is so cool, please wipe the drool from my chin" kind of post. The woman in the mall just stood out so beautifully in her yellow coat and I wanted to be her!

I've been searching for "the right" yellow sweater, sweatshirt, blouse, jacket, SOMETHING, all summer and fall and this coat just appealed to me so much.

And who knows, sometimes things have a way of manifesting once you put them out into the universe....

Aww - thanks for thinking of me Jules! I actually noticed this when Roxana posted it and wondered if that might be my version of the classic camel coat. But nothing compares to that spectacular yellow one.... Sigh.

I have a yellow umbrella with black or navy polka dots (not sure/can't recall which). And I'm keeping an eye out for the perfect yellow rain jacket - which might be easier to find than the elusive yellow puffer.

That coat looks very Uniqlo but I checked and alas, no bright yellow.

Gotta love this delightful group of enablers! This is actually a thread from last winter, I think, started after I spied a woman striding through the mall in an amazing yellow puffer.

I bought no fewer than four puffers last winter, so I’m not exactly wanting for outerwear! That said, the temptation will be hard to resist if the right yellow one comes along!
