I'm thinking my current ones could: Theory blazer, emerald snakeskin shirt, BF jeans, Gidigio boots.

Just curious! What would your outfit be if you put all your top faves together?

Let's see: black knit jacket, cobalt pants, fuchsia or white sweater, riding boots... Yeah, they would. :o) Although this is a rather arbitrary list of favourites. I have a few going on.

Hmmm ... fur vest + purple velvet blazer + striped tee + slouchy jeans + taupe Fryes - yes.

Actually pretty much all my everyday clothes go together - either I have a boring closet or am confused about what goes with what.

I could totally see yours. For me, probably not. Sometimes a fave for me is a fave because it represents a particular style direct that I adore, but of course sometimes those directions don't go together. And like Kellygirl, I'd need to be Shiva Nataraja to wear all my favorite shoes and carry all my favorite bags!

Hm, I think I've just done that recently! Gidigios, bf jeans, military coat. Lol. It would also work with the Zella jacket.

I'm pretty sure I have a small capsule my current faves could populate. Blush moto, panel skirt, grey Frye's, wine skinny cords, open knit off white sweater, olive shirtdress/tunic, Old Navy drapey white tee.

Not always- I took clothes to work with me last week so I could change before going to the movie. I didn't try anything on and grabbed favorites- huge frumpy mistake.
What I brought:
My last years still favorite black jeans
new nexx loose fit blouse that I have worn often since I got it
new black ankle boots that I seem to always grab

The blouse was waaaaaaaaaay too long and loose over my not so skinny black jeans- I should have grabbed my only pair of black leggings.

- black leather blazer

- tweed front slouchy trousers
- blue suede booties

Oh yes! Mine totally work together, and sometimes I think I've been purchasing them with some kind of "ultimate outfit" in mind. My current faves are:

cream silk blouse
new (yet to be debuted because it's for my birthday next week) BR striped pullover
taupe moto
skinnies (or maybe BFs)
pointy flats
Monty (oops, thats 6 items)

And it's going to finally be cold enough to wear all this stuff, yay! Now if I could just get summer items that I am as happy with, and that I feel represent my style as well. *sigh*

hmmm, my long black blazer, my black waxed jeans, and my bottle green silky blouse. and any of my black shoes or boots, yup, I think it would rock! when did I start liking black so much?

I'm hoping that this is true, and that my theory is true--that an underlying aesthetic should logically be covering all of my clothing, enabling them to harmonize together.

I love mixing all of my favorite pieces even if they don't work for the same occassions: e.g. work and casual time. For example, I recently wore a bright purple pencil skirt with a faux fur trimmed vest http://thepearshape.com/?p=1829
