Could you see me in these booties?

I've discovered these Ecco booties yesterday and I'm in love! I actually used to have similar ones in my teens that were my favourite shoes, I wore them until they fell apart. But then I already have a pair of black boots and black ballet flats and I didn't want to duplicate with black footwear. Or should I try them anyway? I've come away a bit from wearing colored tights and prefer low contrast these days, so I would mostly want to wear these with black and dark grey tights.

They are great! I think you will find them very useful. Besides, they are suitable for days when your ballet flats will be left at home due to rain or cold. I have a similar pair, and they are my most versatile Autumn/Winter-shoe.

I can see you wearing these Astrid. Do they only come in black? If you don't have black booties already then I dont see an issue with repeating black on your shoe collection.

I thin they're great, and they serve a different purpose than your other black shoes. You know you will love them, I say go for it!

Thanks Ingunn. I still have to try them to see if they fit, but normally Ecco is comfortable. You're right of course, I won't be able to wear my ballet flats much longer due to rain and cold.

Deborah, they are also available in brown, but not "my" brown, at least I don't think so from the pictures. Not sure how well they would go with my clothes. I actually don't have any booties at all, my shoe collection is lacking for sure.

I really like these for you Astrid. They suit your style, look like they have a fairly streamlined ankle fit and I suspect would be very comfortable. I think they're worth a try!

I have three pairs of black booties, and they are all different and give different vibes to my outfits, so I don't necessarily see a problem with another black pair as long as you feel certain you will wear them. Personally I always follow my shoe loves (budget allowing) and it always works out well, even if I have it in my head I need something else. It's more when I buy things based on logical arguments that I end up not using it the way I had hoped.

Scarlet, seems like you have good intuition when it comes to shoes! But I agree, I've also bought things I thought I needed and ended up never wearing them. I planned to buy non black boots/booties as an alternative to my black ones, that's why I was hesitating. But I guess I still can do that anyway, I just have to wait a bit. And I hadn't found a non-black pair I liked yet.

So, I was in the store and asked the SA, but they didn't have them. Seems like they are only available in the online store. Too bad, I really would have liked to try them on.

Hmm, there is a store near me that carries Ecco. I will check it when I walk by next time.

Thanks Scarlet! That would be great. The SA told me they had the whole range in the store, but the booties are marked as new in the online store and I somehow can't imagine that they are only available online. I'm going to have a look in another store too when it's on my way.

Have you checked to see if they're available online anywhere there is free shipping? A good option if you cant locate them nearby...I would also call their CS and see how they run (large, small, narrow, etc) good luck!

Thanks BM! They actually do free shipping, but I'm a bit fed up with all the ordering and returning I've done recently and would prefer to avoid it if possible. Of course I'd do it if they weren't available elsewhere. Good idea about calling their CS, I'll do that if I order online.
