Una, it depends entirely on who wears the jacket, and how it's worn. If I wear it - it's going to look polished. If Kate Moss wears it, its going to look RATE.
I think the velvet jacket is a wee more RATE than the other ones. I would say this is a style that goes either way.
I like the style education I receive on YLF but don't know if learning about new things / brands that I "must have" at least "one of these days" is a good thing!
