That's unfortunate, Kelly, because the sweater IS very cute and it certainly looks like cotton on the picture.
I didn't realize at first it was ordered from Nordstrom. I have respect for them as they list a lot of details, unlike many other sites. That's why I don't think they were being deliberately deceiving. Most likely the data-entry person just made a mistake. It'd be interesting to see if they fix it after you brought up the issue, though.
That's why I'm not a fan of online shopping for such things... It's like buying a pig in a bag... As if fit and color are not big enough variables... I would've never expected this sort of a problem. Some time ago I ordered a pair of boots from Zappos. The color looked like rich and pretty cognac/whiskey on the pictures. What I received was the ugliest, blah, muddy beige I've ever seen! Mind you, they had good reviews, too... Otherwise the boots were very good in many ways, but the color ruined it all for me. Then I watched the video again. I don't know if this is always the case, but in this case the color in the video was closer to the actual color. I guess I got too excited looking at the pics and didn't pay enough attention to the video. Of course, many times the shoes come in various colors and the videos show only one... It's so frustrating because the local selection here becomes more and more limited by the day and I have to resort to ordering stuff, but I don't like to do it.
