Cos does cut for straighter bodies, which typically works for me. Where I run into problems is having broad shoulders and a small bust.
I remember one item in particular, a sleeveless wool sweater with a gorgeous draped neckline. I ordered my usual M; too big. Ordered a
S, still ludicrously large. No XS. I don't know who that sweater would have fit. Nonetheless, determined to keep it, I treated it as an expensive piece of fabric and took it to my tailor, who created a thing of beauty out of that sweater, with a neckline that stands up and frames the face like a flower (plus necessary tweaks to adjust fit). Amazing.
