I thought I’d put this in a new thread, but I posted on the green COS dress a couple of days ago.
I finally got a chance to let it hang a bit to ease out the creases and try it on with my husband’s input. Well, it’s working much better now! The fabric is quite stretchy and forgiving, and it seems that the more I wear it, the more it eases and doesn’t seem quite so curve-hugging. My husband loves it and urged me to keep it. And I’m feeling more comfortable in it too! I will probably get the shoulder narrowed a bit since it’s a little wide on me (you can see I have it folded in slightly in the second pic).
Pics 3-5 are a dress from Essentiel Antwerp. I am an absolute sucker for a good ombré, and it so happens that the turquoise color in this is a good one next to my face. It’s a bit dressier than I expected due to the fabric, but it’s very light and comfortable — romantic in a way I enjoy. Hubs ADORED this one. Said I must keep it. Again, could use a little narrowing in the shoulder for a little better fit, but that’s not hard.
6-7 are the cheap as chips DKNY tee shirt dress I mentioned in the other thread. Hubs liked this too, but the others were his favorite. I have the sleeves folded under here because I don’t care for the sleeve length. I was thinking of having them removed, but I might just shorten them to the length here. I like the side slits in this one, and it’s just a really easy dress to throw on at the beach or something like that. Not precious at all. So I’m considering keeping it as well, especially since I have a hard time finding solid color casual dresses in good colors for me.
