I saw this outfit somewhere (pic 3) and thought that I could easily copy it with my pieces. This is me trying to be modern. The light, a bit dusty greish blue is not the perfect blue on me, but I think that the black bits (bag and boots) come to rescue.
The first version is a closer copy with a white tee, however, a grafic one, not plain. The second one - added a scarf which marries together all the blues and the black of the items. I prefer the version with the scarf.
What am I wearing: Oversized wool blend blazer from Dorothee Schumacher (German brand), blue Escada straight full length jeans, semi-glossy black Chelsea boots from Tod’s and a black unstructured bag from Ferragamo. All items are old, but to my eye, the jacket looks quite modern with its oversize fit and the longer length and pockets. Tee shirt is a cheepo - bought on sale on for cca 8 $. The scarf is my new favorite - Aloha from Givenchy. Glasses really old from Gucci.
How did I do? Is this a little modern and casual way to style a blazer?
ETA - thank you all and each one so much for the feedback and styling tips! I have tweaked the outfit a little - two new pictures below
