Contents of Your Purse?

With all the talk about switching purses and using purse organizers, I'm just curious...what do you all have in your purses?

Mine currently consists of: wallet, phone, and keys.

I know that being only 22, I don't have the years of experience to figure out what to all keep in my purse.

So, what do you all have?

Well other possible items that mine has had, at times...
Make up
pens
paper/notebook
paracetamol
cold sore cream
cheque book
tissues
daughters ballet shoes
random bits of paper...

That's just a start

I have tons of things in my bag, which are:

Wallet, keys, cell phone.

Mini notepad and pen.

Some basic medications ( e.g. Advil).

Lip balm, hairbrush, small mirror, face blotting sheets, tissues.

Tide stain pen, Anti blister stick, Band Aids, a small pack of breath mints, tiny bottle of Purell (hand sanitizer).

Occasionally: sunglasses, umbrella, whatever book I am reading at the moment.

well seeing as I'm a student, most of my bag is taken up with books, notepads, folders, pen, highlighters and post-its. I also carry wallet, keys, phone, lip balm, a couple more books for light reading or when I get bored in the library, bottle of water, tissues and sometimes a dry pair of socks. (it rains here far too much)

I stuff a lot of things in my wallet...like checkbook, coupons, receipts, notes, appt cards. So my purse is generally holding my overstuffed wallet, a pad of paper and pen or two, lipstick, hand sanitizer, my cell phone, my keys (when I'm not home), and tissues--oh any any coupons that don't fit in my wallet. There are usually a few loose coins on the bottom too. Oh and I keep a few tampons in the inside zipper compartment. Nothing more embarrassing than opening my purse at the grocery store a having a tampon fall out!

I have a wallet, keys, cell phone plus...
a small make=up bag with lip balm, lipstick, small brush, tampons, bandaids, nail file; sometimes sunglasses; a pen (although I never seem to have one when I need one)

On days that I need more, I'll carry a larger tote and add any of the following depending on what I'm doing:
reading glasses, book, umbrella, water bottle, a notepad

I used to carry much more things in my handbag until some (**&*&*&*^*,pardon my language) on the moto ripped it off my shoulder and I had to say goodbye to my favorite photos, charms, beloved perfect wallet and much much more.
Now ut is a very basic kit of lipstic/perfume/hand cream/band aids (samples come very handy!), wallet, keys, pen and Ipod. And of course kleenex.
In summer a fan, in winter the umbrella.
Always sunglasses and pain killer.

Don't have time for reading books when I am on the go but I carry love letters;-)). Light, handy and how up lifting no matter rain or shine!

keys with too many keychains (i like jingly keychains which become heavy)
cheque books
pens and a notepad
lip gloss/compact/comb/mirror
receipts/coupons/to do lists/bills etc
bandaids/emergency meds like advil
breath mints

havent carried a small bag in years (so envious of u Shell)

My kids call my purse the Mary Poppins bag because regardless what they want, I am able to pull it out of there. My purse is a medium sized cross-body bag that seems to swallow up anything i put into it and magically spurts out anything I need. Don't ask me how that works...some miracles I simply accept.

My secondary purse is my mini-van. Anything that doesnt fit into my purse is carried around in the van....including a costo-sized flat of water bottles and juice boxes, a large tote-bag of kid activites, snacks, changes of clothing, blankets and lip balm. Plus a first aid kit. If I could figure out how to fit all this into my Mary Poppins bag, I would!

Usually-- cell phone, tiny wallet, keys, receipts, diapers, but only the cell phone, wallet and keys get moved between purses. I need to be better about cleaning the receipts out.

Sometimes-- sunglasses (I try to keep these in the car), larger wallet, lipstick

Writing it out, that seems like a lot of stuff! But when I switch purses I just move my wallet and the makeup bag and other loose items.

It is fun to hear what you guys lug around with you all day. My purse has:

-wallet, phone, keys, pen, hi lighter and small notepad

-Trident gum, Aleve, hand sanitizer

-oil blotting papers, lip gloss, eye drops, hair rubber band

depending on situation: Totes umbrella, cardigan, camera, book

I switch bags often, so I went to using a cosmetic bag which holds most of my loose things - now I can just move that from bag to bag.

wallet
keys
cellphone
sunglasses
small agenda
notebook
pens
lip balm
sometimes camera
water bottle

In the cosmetic bag:
compact mirror
concealer (I have skin prone to red spots)
travel size hairspray
advil/tylenol
a sheet of Bounce for static cling
a baggie of nuts or a dried fruit bar
nail clipper
clear mascara

In a ziploc for my baby daughter (in my bag if she's with me):
two diapers
wipes
diaper cream
a fresh onesie
extra soother
a snack
bottle

I use mid to large sized bags and have a variety! I'm tall so I've always liked how the large bag look balanced me out.
