This is a little long and disjointed!
I am in the midst of a major closet edit as the result of a recent health issue and a weight loss of several sizes. (I am OK now)
I brought a bunch of many-sizes-too-large clothing to a cash-on-the-spot consignment store recently and was handed $100. I am focusing on how much joy someone will get out of these items, since i knew I had no interest in selling them on Poshmark. (This is a change in thinking as in the past I would have dwelled on how much I actually spent on those items! )
At least it frees up closet space to more easily view - and wear my clothes... the good stuff ... including things that literally have not fit in maybe 20 years but still look current/stylish.
I have more to edit/purge but I want to wear older items with the intent to immediately donate if i do not feel fab in them.
Of course I still want to shop. With mostly black clothes, I am thinking of branching out into jewel tones. I dont even know what size I am! For once I have a list of specific items i need and will try to stick to a list. This is uncharted territory for me!!
