The weather is moderating, no snow this weekend, so we can decide our next date rather than having the weather decide for us. Actually, Friday and Saturday are expected to be wall to wall sunshine, albeit a little chilly. Saturday's high is supposed to be 47.
My boyfriend and I talked about going on a roadtrip, almost an hour away. There is a nice steakhouse high up on a hill that overlooks a lake, and thee is a small park next to it to spend a little time outside if we wanted to. He has been there before, though it has been a few years. He thinks I will enjoy it. We are dressing up for this date.
Yellow and light blue seem like good colors for that day, with the bright sun and clear sky, yet it's still winter, so it seems appropriate to include also a dark color, and for boots to be my footwear.
I can put together two outfits that fit this. What do you all like?
All pieces in the photographs are exactly what I own or nearly
identical. Additionally, I am height and weight proportional, 5'4", and
my hair is brownish blonde, a little more than halfway down my back
Outfit #1: One of my summer dresses, yellow, sleeveless, with some detail, that comes to a little above my knees. I would be wearing the sky blue long sleeve blouse under it (it is a little lighter than the image might indicate), with sky blue pantyhose. I would be wearing the black cardigan when we are outside, and the black faux leather boots, 4" heel, 3/4 inch platform, come up to just under my knees.
Outfit #2: A yellow summer skirt that I have, pleated, hemline several inches above my knees, with some lace detail at the hem. Same sky blue long sleeve blouse as in #1, but with yellow pantyhose. Also, as in #1,
I would be wearing the black cardigan when we are outside, and the black faux leather boots, 4" heel, 3/4 inch platform, come up to just under my knees.
