What did you decide? Inquiring minds want to know!

I am super late here. I feel very mixed about them. But if YOU love, you should keep!! You know your own style better than anybody at this point.

I don't care for them, but I have a poison eye for brown and tan together (brings to mind '70s leisure suits). I also really wonder about the versatility of brown boots for you, since you don't really wear earth tones or muddy colors that would pair well with brown? What colors would you wear these with? Maybe cream or olive green and denim? Intrigued by your description of the blue green ones at Zappos--are you especially drawn to this color palette?

ETA: Just saw the gray green blue ones--MUCH prefer those, especially given the colors you wear. Just my two cents!

ETA x 2: I have a pair of leather Uggs for walking the dog. I would definitely recommend wearing yours barefoot. That's what the Ugg site says to do, and it has worked best for me in terms of comfort (with socks, your feet slide around and they sweat; barefoot there is no sliding, and the sheep fluff magically maintains a nice temp for your tootsies and there is no foot sweat).

I was surprised you were in love with these - both because of the color (I don't remember you ever wearing brown or tan in WIWs) and because they seem kind of visually busy. BUT ... if you really love them, then they are perfect for you.

I glanced at this earlier and wasn't wowed by the boots, but I reserved comment because you were so smitten and I wanted to take another look when I was more awake and aware.

I usually am right with you when it comes to boots, but I am somehow not loving these either. Maybe they don't photograph well, but somehow they are coming across a bit too busy for me -- the gold is high contrast with the dark brown, plus the straps, plus the distressing. It's just ALGO in one boot to my eye. I am also probably biased because brown and gold are not my faves -- I agree with Jonesy that the other color combination is more appealing. I think the lower contrast helps a lot.

However! If you love them and can think of lots of ways to wear them, that's what matters. Just giving you my two cents.

I *really* adore the blue/green ones. Do you wear outfits that would need a pair of brown boots often? I feel like your wardrobe is based around grey/black as a neutral.
