completely OT - take photos of your friends!

One of my best friends is leaving town, and I am contributing some pages to a farewell scrapbook for her with photos and messages.

I have spent the evening going through nearly every photo we have taken in the 7 years we have lived here. Found dozens of YLF clothing shots. Do you know how many I have of me and my friend together? TWO That is all. Such a small record of such a dear friend.

I urge you all to take some pictures of the people you regularly spend time with - and congrats if you are already doing it!

BTW I don't want to imply that YLF photos are all I have taken! I have plenty of photos of my children, and quite a lot from holidays (vacations).

What I don't have many of are the people that I regularly spend time with. This dear friend and I met every fortnight or month, and spent the evening talking, reading the bible, praying for each other, late into the night. But we never took a photo of this!

It doesn't matter for the purposes of the scrapbook page. The photo search just made me reflect on it.

Agreed as we are the ones usually taking the photo. I take tons of photos but only have a few of my partner and I. He doesn't like the camera so that doesn't help.
