The gray is a medium and the cream is a large. Biiiiiig difference. I didn't end up buying one because I wasn't find of any of the colors on me. However I thought this might be interesting for those of you wondering which size to pick I usually wear an 8 in us sizes.

That's interesting. If I had bought one, I would have picked the medium. I do see what you mean about the sleeves, though.

Im on the fence about the navy. It looks a bit washed out.

I also wasn't sure if I could wear an oversized sweater like this with regular instead of skinny jeans. I don't feel comfy in skinniest.

These photos are very helpful, thanks for this, Amy. I am with Angie here, in the medium size the sleeves aren't really doing what they should be doing with this type of silhouette.

The cream is super-flattering on you - both the color and, maybe even more so, the fit. It fits you much more nicely across your torso than the gray. The color is beautiful on you and works well with your complexion and your hair. The gray, while not at all a bad color for you, is just gray. I think the pic may look slightly odd to some because the sleeve on your right arm is all twisted up.

I think the shape of this sweater is, by its nature, a natural with slim pants. It would probably be fine with well-fitting straights (I'm thinking about my Gap or Lucky straights which are not skinnies but are just the other side of them.). It probably won't lend itself well to jeans that are cut much wider in the thigh and bottom as then the effect will teeter toward shapeless. What kind of jeans do you have on in the pics? Truly, the cream color sweater with those jeans is way cute.

I was in the dressing you at the same time, Amy, and missed your post. Did you get a sweater? FWIW, I think that you could make this silhouette work with "regular" width pants, largely because you have some amazingly long legs!

Thank you for posing with your arms stuck out like that, I know they called it a dolman sweater but everyone else's pics with arms tucked in made me hope it wasn't really. Now I now better.
Still hunting for my own fisherman type sweater.

I like the cream one better... but something still bothers me about the sleeve. I think it's the style... maybe I have a poison eye for this style. I'd like to see a more fitted shoulder and armhole, or a real batwing with a 3/4 sleeve... but this compromise doesn't seem flattering in my eye. Sorry! You look fantastic in a cream chunky sweater though. Hope you find the one soon!

Hmmm, I enjoyed the pictures and reading through all the comments. I liked the cream color best on you. As far and the grey and navy, I can see why you might have felt washed out in them with your warm (I think) coloring. If you can find a winter white that has golden undertones (like an ivory), it might be just the ticket.
