After the essentials discussion, I decided it was time to retire some tank tops, and replace. I don’t wear tanks stand-alone, these are purely layering pieces for me. So I decided to try Amazon Wardrobe and compare 2 types: Amazon Essentials vs Daily Ritual. Both are sold in 2-packs, and I ordered the same size in both.

Photo 1- Daily Ritual ($18). 100% supima cotton. Scoop neck in front, straight in the back. Laid flat, it’s 2 inches wider in the body than the Amazon, and arm curve is more straight. Feels more like wearing a t-shirt, and is very thin.

Photo2- Amazon essentials ($14). Scoop front and back, 58% cotton, 39% modal, 3% elastane. Although the scoop front is cut almost the same as the Daily Ritual, it sits about 1/2 inch lower. Feels more substantial, and as you can see, fits better to my curves.

There isn’t a huge cost difference but this is the kind of purchase where if I don’t get it right it really bugs me - I don’t like futzing with layering tops. I’m keeping the Amazon essential, as I the think the weight and fit is better,

Thanks for looking - and letting me workout my thoughts in print!
