Hi Lovely Ones,

Thanks so much for your warm thoughts and prayers on my thread last week.

We have recruited three new chefs for our meals program, with two starting today. Our weather is extreme. It was 41 degrees today and I suspect a number of degrees hotter in the kitchen.

Our volunteer team were absolute troopers! It was the kind a day were I would have understood people saying it was too hot to come and help... but they didn't!.

Our chefs cooked a fantastic meal and not one person complained about the extreme heat we were working in.

Days like to today remind me just how fab, generous and caring most people are.
