Freckles, that's very interesting. As a naturalized British citizen and someone who grew up with kings and queens in the books only, I find it fascinating to watch the perception of the Royal family.
I often listen and read the stories about the ordinary people who get to meet the Queen and when asked what they talked about with her, the answer is usually "She asked where I was from and what I did... then she went to meet someone else". And I wonder, the Queen has a chance to meet so many different and interesting people, but how many of them does she really get to talk to beyond the formalities, who does she remember afterwards, with so little time and so many people to meet.
So, the comment about W&K exceeding times to meet the crowds is only positive in my book
