These are straighter dresses than I've worn with boots in the past. I like the Ann Taylor dress, but it is sold out. No worries though--bet I can find something in my closet with a less "swooshy" sillouhette than I've worn in the past. That's where I should look first any way.

Interesting that several commenters have said they prefer to have a little something not covered by boot/skirt. Bitd, when I wore boots and skirts together often, I had a friend who did the same. She's Muslim, and found it a good way to "cover" fashionably.
