As NAS winds into its final week, I'm contemplating the black opaque Commando tights on sale. Are they as comfy as reputation claims?

Since I have an undefined and short waist, all tights and pantyhose end around my belly button and tend to dig into my apple-y chub. I found a pair of no-waist tights at Anthro that felt wonderful... then they proceeded to get a huge hole in the toe on the second wearing. If the Commandos can last more than a season (in heavy rotation with other tights) and are truly comfortable, I think they'd be worth paying 2-3x as much as usual... otherwise, I'm not really short of regular black tights.

Also, what about sizing? I usually size up from a small to a medium in tights, but some reviews urge otherwise. Thanks in advance for any advice you might have!
