Embarrassing revelation: I have lost so much weight my underwear is too big. MY UNDERWEAR. It's giving me serious VPL. I even had a dream last night that they were bagging up underneath my jeans like clown pants.
A search on Google for "cotton no panty line underwear" revealed a brand called commando that makes cotton unders with no panty line (http://www.wearcommando.com/products/cotton-bikini). Search of reviews is heavily positive. THEY ARE ALMOST $30 APIECE. However, Bare Necessities is having 20% off and free shipping sale. So I did it. 8 pairs. Go big or stay home with floppy panties. I hope these work and breathe, because I can't do the nonbreathy thing down there.

YES! I bought a couple of pair at NAS, maybe as a result of reviews here or on another site. No VPL and seem to be MUCH better that way than other undies that supposedly leave no VPL; unsure whether they are truly worth the horrendous price since I don't wear anything particularly tight. They are holding up fine in the wash, but at less than a year old, I would expect that.
You deserve to go Commando! Great purchase, esp. for your climate.
IK - thank god you further explained that you bought 8 pair. $30 might be expensive, but I initially thought you had paid $200 for ONE pair of knickers and decided you were insane! (LOL) No idea regarding this brand, have seen it mentioned a number of times on this forum, but as far as I'm aware they are not available in Oz.
