Hello!

I bought these shoes today, in the light tan color:

They are pretty comfy. They don't squeeze my forefoot at all, which is pretty unusual, and they felt good walking around on tile floor for a while. I'm going to put a cushioning insole in them. I haven't tried them out at school yet, but when I do, I will let you know if anyone is interested. Just FYI.

JS makes a great shoe. Her entire collection is designed and manufactured by BCBG. I’ve had my foot in these shoes plenty of times. It’s quite comfy. I hope they work out for you, Ana.

Nice shoes! It's good to know that JS makes good shoes. I really like some of the styles, but I wasn't sure about the comfort level. I'm on the lookout for some shoes for spring/summer, so I'll have to keep those in mind.

Okay, so I wore the heels today to school. I only had one class in the morning, so there wasn't a lot of major walking all day involved. The shoes rubbed the back of my heel raw! I figured out what happened--there's a hard little bit right at the back of the shoe that doesn't give when I walk, hence the rubbing. Anyway, I'm going to take them to a cobbler and have that part stretched or rounded out and see if that helps. It was also my fault for not bringing a back up pair of shoes. Other than that, I had pretty good comfort--no tired or sore bottoms or pinching of my toes, only that darned rubbing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it can be fixed. I still like them, and think they are mostly comfortable with a padded insole, if that one issue can be corrected.

I'll just chalk it up to shoe experience.

I always use Blister Block on my heel when wearing a new shoe -- always, even on the immediately-comfy ones. It helps a lot during the break-in period, and if there is any hard little bit on the heel, as I often find there is.

Yes, it's a Band-Aid product. Look for it with their "special" bandages, like the antibiotics ones or the heel-blister ones (which are also great if your heel has already been scraped raw by new shoes). I love it -- carry it around in my purse constantly!

Ana, thinking back to the tomato red Marc Jacobs flats you liked, I saw a pair of Franco Sarto loafer-style pumps with a stacked wooden heel (but not too tall) in a tomato red nubuck leather at Nordstrom. I tried to find them online but no luck yet. You might be able to see them at your Nordstrom, though.

Tanya, thanks for the link to the blister block coupon. I will try to pick some up tomorrow. These shoes didn't even leave a blister, I just have a big sore where the skin was literally rubbed away. I have a giant band-aid on it right now, lol. It makes me laugh. It's like a shoe war wound.

I went out and also bought a pair of Cole Haan Nike Air shoes on sale. They are grey lizard embossed, peep toe mary janes. The peep toe is very small though. Here they are:

I had them stretched at Cole Haan over night, and picked them up today. They are *really* comfortable, but I still need to put them to the test. I'm sure I will review them here later. Ana, those CH shoes are so pretty! I have tried them on in the store and they were very comfy, but decided against them since they don't work for my daily activities. I shall live vicariously through you and Patience and Sarah I do have a couple pairs of shoes- some flats and wedges from that line and they have held up very well and are quite comfy. I love those cheetah print pumps!
