Comfy boots with removable insoles

Just purchased (Nordstroms) the Birkenstock leather Farmington boot. Comfy, wide toe box and my orthotics fit when insole removed. Fairly stylish for a comfy boot.

Nice boots! I should really try these. My orthotics don't fit in anything...

They're described as "shorter shaft" but 14" might still be too tall for me, though.

The Cobb Hill boots look very nice, like the buckle detail. Are the insoles removable? I got the Birkenstock boots to wear when I know I will be doing a lot of walking...replacement in the winter for my Brooks Addiction athletic shoes which also accommodate orthotics (and the orthotics are wide width which limits my options even more in the footwear department (and ups the price but I have to have something I can actually walk in without pain)

Cobb Hill is made by New Balance. I don't think the insoles are removable, but they're very comfortable.
