I've purchased a few things lately that are quite nice -- the first from Nordies, the rest from Anthro.
Halogen loafer: My feet have been giving me some issues lately, and I have been finding that booties and high vamp shoes are the best for me. These loafers fit me really well and were immediately comfortable. I wore them first time out for more than 6 hours with no blistering or soreness, and I love how they look. The perfect balance of sleek and chunk.
Pilco wide leg chinos: Very comfortable fit - for me, Pilcro is a great brand. These have a released hem (my first) and a longer leg than on the model. I'm hoping to wear these with high shaft booties and a long sweater this fall.
Silk cami and lacework shell: I am planning to wear these together, perhaps under a jean jacket or blazer, to see Norah Jones in Portland. I wanted something new and special, and most of the lacey tops had the dreaded high neck. This lace shell is MUCH nicer than the picture looks (and a deeper, nicer color) and it has a loose fit without being overly flowy. It might help edge me into maximal territory for Angie's challenge. We'll see. I'm just not sure about what pants to wear .... thoughts?
ETA also this JCrew neckerchief. Fits great.
