Love, love, love #1!

Joy, of course, you dare wear them all! GREAT examples of how to wear black in a summer-ish way.

I’m all for clothing to keep the spirit up, even if it’s in a non traditional way like lots of black. Incredible to believe that this is such a challenging moment for you and yours. The pleated top needs rethinking, but you knew that. Other than that, wear it all: without another moment of hesitation.

5-7 is my new outfit goal - I should wear black so well! I also love the first and the dress. Not sure about the sheer top, but otherwise all inspiration for me! I think I would also play in my closet a lot if I were in such a stressful situation - best wishes for you and DH.

Thank you, Shevia. 3Style, I dressed in a colorful outfit today and need to think about tomorrow's outfit. It must be upbeat and able to be warm in freezing hospital rooms.
Shevia, you humble me. Tomorrow (Tuesday here) will be important. I need extra courage.

Late to this thread and can’t think of anything original to add to all the spot-on compliments except to say yes, yes, yes! I’ve been trying a bit of all-black myself but not having a closet stocked nearly as well as yours makes it challenging....but fun of course! My fav is 4 with the tan print accessories but the white accented ones are great too. Sending best wishes for DH’s continued recovery.

Well black loves you back! I love the simplicity and elegance of these looks and now I want black shorts because you look amazing in yours!

Sorry to hear that the DH is unwell.l hope all goes ok with the surgery. You wear black SO well,so much for the old adage that women over 40 shouldn’t wear black!I like all the outfits you look very chic in all of them.

You look absolutely amazing. I’m sending strength and hugs Your and DH’s way. I know you must be brightening his room!

I almost never wear black but I am going to study these and see what tricks you are using because the all look so great.

You look lovely in the black outfits Joy, all are excellent. I like the sheer black blouse in no 2, with a cami under it will be perfect too. You have such a fabulous and well composed wardrobe - real inspiration.
I hope your husband will get better soon. Hugs to you!

Dear Joy, I’m so sorry to hear about your husband! I hope the results of his surgery and recovery turn out excellently. He’s fortunate to have a supportive and stylish wife like you! I love how chic you look in pic 5. You must be brightening his heart and providing great motivation towards recovery when he sees you looking so good during visits. Take good care!
