I have been following Colour Me Happy since Angie did her blog post about Maria's terrific interior designs and understanding of colour, and have been loving reading her. So imagine my surprise to see yesterday's post be ABOUT our Angie and her fabulous styling skills!

This is probably one of the best descriptions I have ever read (and the photos tell a great story too) of what is like to have Angie's professional assistance one-on-one. I really felt like I was there, and it made me run to Expedia and check prices for a trip to Seattle for myself!

What timing! I was just going through emails and realizing I was behind on CMH. Scooted right over to read it all. I adore seeing Angie in action this way and reading such a fantastic, detailed account. Well done to both Maria and Angie! This is all just fodder for my daydreams of hiring Angie one day . . .

Wow, I wish I was closer to Angie. I would love to have this experience myself. Although I must confess, Angie is a tad in my head already. Quick story: Yesterday I went to ATL to pick up a couple of those colorful V- necks. I'm usually a small on tops, so that's what I first grabbed and went to pay. Then I remember Angie suggested to size up, so I got out of line, grabbed the mediums and went back. jejeje....

Wow! This was very interesting and a post I will read again and again to get ideas. I want to go to Seattle and get Angie's help too! Maria is adorable all on her own, but the right clothes took her to another level. I love that Angie took her to stores I could actually afford too. Thanks for the link, Kristen!

I'd dismissed OTK boots completely, but the photo of Angie...wow. She looks incredible in them.

And one of these days, I *will* get out to Seattle.

Bummer Lynne - It makes me want to offer that I will buy and ship them over for you. I already do that for plenty of friends outside of the US. They were about $18.00 x tax each ( I live in New York City). PM me if you are interested. It would not be a problem at all!

Kristen - thanks for linking to this article! I agree - it's wonderful. You can see Maria just come alive, going from the first picture to the last one. The colors Angie put her in are just amazing for her! And the styles are perfect - she also looks so "current," but not at all "trendy."

(After seeing myself in so much black in our YLF gather pics, I am making more of an effort to wear color.)

I feel we are so lucky to have Angie as our advisor here! (And I know I'm not the only one who thinks, "If I ever win the lottery ...")

The bit about fringe on scarves really clicked with me. I figured out that while I like colorful scarves, it is really the fringe that keeps me from wearing them. Something about the bits of string drives me nuts. I spent a good hour clipping off fringe from assorted scarves and hope to get more wear out of them now.

I loved reading the post about Angie thank you for sharing this with us Kristen. Angie is always beautiful and smiling every time I see her in a photo.. And it goes without saying dress too kill. Whoops, sorry, Angie, hope I didn't let the cat out of the bag too early! It was such a fantastic, enjoyable article I knew it had to be shared over here too.

If I didn't already have a couple of trips booked this fall, I might consider a trip out to Seattle to utilize your professional services. I figure I will get out there eventually!
