Colors to wear with army camo harem pants?

So I got the Zara camo harem pants that Una has, and I love them!

Now I'm trying to figure out what colors would work for toppers and shoes. Black is obvious (and I realize a big hole in my wardrobe -- no black blazer), but I'd like to try other colors (besides brown, tan, khaki, and olive). What do you think of white or cream? Would certain shades of gray work? My forest green wedge sneakers?

I was thinking hot pink too! Navy, grey, cream, black, red. I'm going to treat them as neutral olive.

I like the suggestions above! How about a bright color top with a neutral blazer, perhaps cropped or oversized?

I have camo shoes that make a great neutral-- so I figure anything but crazy pattern mixing would be great. These would make cool holiday pants!

Camo is a neutral! Orange, citron, cobalt, berry, burgundy! Any of your personal power colors.

Sorry, Rae, no orange. I used to live in hunting country. Camo plus safety orange everywhere in the fall.

Dark cherry pink, burgundy, maybe a reddish rust or dark gold.. Pale pink, ice blue. If going with brown, the nice warm chestnut like the model is wearing (or is that you?) would be nice.

I'm unsure whether you want to go edgy but I copied a look from a woman in Nordstrom. She had on camo pants, a black and white striped shirt, black blazer and leopard/cheetah shoes...with pearls. I couldn't take my eyes off of her! I realize that may be waaaay ALGO though.

I like this look from the blog "My Style Pill" although I prefer a black blazer instead of the black leather jacket.

I like camo with a light heathered grey. I think the neutral top lets the pants stand out more.

I agree with the idea of treating camo like a neutral, but I really like the outfit Meka described. I love the idea of mixing camo with either a pattern on top, or a color with even some slight variation to it, like a heather grey.

Many great colors suggested, but I just want to add another citron vote. I love camo with citron - even in small accent amounts.

Also, metallic gold. There are lots of sweaters and tops out there right now in soft metallic golds. . .
