Colorblock Bags (?)

I've been eying Aimee Kestenberg bags for a while, and have also been liking colorblock bags. This one really grabbed my attention as a possibility for spring.

Do you wear colorblock bags? Are they versatile or do you get tired of them quickly?

Would love to hear any/all opinions.

I currently don’t have a colorblock bag but two of my bags have two colors. I like it and don’t think I will get tired of them. If I see a colorblock bag I would be interested but it would have to be in my core colors.

Thats a great looking bag, it would certainly go well with your camel coat outfit. I think the colour blocking is very elegant and is neutral enough to go with many things.
My priorities beyond just the style when choosing a bag are usually focused on secure closures, useful compartments, and will it hold what i need.

I bought this Fossil bag over the summer to use as my winter bag, and I've been very happy with it. It provides enough variety to wear with multiple outfits, but it isn't too busy.

I had one in those same colors a few years ago and I used until it fell apart. Loved it and would happily have a new one.

My favourite bag ever was colour block - black, white, cognac, with a touch of green and looked like a Birkin. It was faux leather, so didn’t hold up. I hunt for colour block bags off and on, but haven’t found ‘the one’ yet. I want a pair of colour lock loafers too!

Ditto everything that Suz said. For the right price (probably secondhand), colour combo, and pewter/silver hardware, I'd be all in! Botkier bags often catch my eye.

Very nice bag! I love the look of colourblock bags. If they are in colours you wear a lot, they can be versatile and definitely add interest to your outfits.

I have one color block bag…toffee and cream with a black cross-body strap and I absolutely love it. It adds interest to my mostly-solid color wardrobe. I’ve never tired of it.

Never owned one, but think I'd personally prefer a blendier print for my own style. Though it *would* be more versatile if you're wearing another print in the outfit...hmm...

I have had two I really liked, each had two colors that I wear as neutrals: one cognac and black, which I wore out, and the current which is cognac and olive.

I like bags that have more than one colour and find them easy to wear with different clothes. As your bag is a range of neutrals, it looks to be very versatile.

I’ve never had one. I have seen some shoes in a similar colour combo, brown and black, I really liked them, but I wondered the same thing as you… would they become limiting? It’s a really nice bag though.
But I would only go for it if it wasn’t going to have to be my everyday bag….

I’ve had a couple of color-blocked bags in the past, which usually combined a neutral and non-neutral, which made them of limited use. I would think the terrific mix of neutrals here would make this a really versatile bag.

I don't have one, but I do love my longchamps tote for being black with brown straps, as it then coordinates with more shoes ... So I think it's a great idea! Think it would work better for those who wear simpler and more neutrals outfits though ... I can see if one wears lots of colours in an outfit, this could then be a little busy?

Thanks again everyone, very helpful comments.The "white" part of this particular bag looks like a very pale cool grey and I think I'd prefer a warmer cream ... but definitely a possibility.

LaPed I had forgotten about Botkier - another good possibility.

I had one a bit similar from Fossil that was off white, a pale warm grey, and toffee. It was my summer bag and I loved it until I wore it out. I almost bought last year’s version too but decided I had moved on.
