Rita, thanks for posting your grey jacket/red pants/leopard boots outfit! The opinions on it made me realize that I am clueless about color theory and especially saturation. I feel I am good with colors when it comes to quilting, as well as picking what looks good on me. But in terms of combining intensity or cool vs. warm, I just don't seem to see in these terms. That whole cool grey jacket with warm red pants issue didn't even OCCUR to me, much less bother me! And I'm happy about that in some ways.
I'm wondering if once I learn more about it all, will I be able to see beyond it and still appreciate outfits that don't follow those rules? Or will it expand my creative horizons?
Any ideas for where to start? I'm familiar with the color wheel (again, for quilting).
