I can not figure out how to load the YLF collect button on my iPhone. Or is that not an option?

It is possible, but it's a bit tricky. If you have an Apple Mac the easiest thing is to add the collect button on Safari on your Mac and then sign in with your Apple ID on both your Mac and the iPhone. Then the bookmarklet (collect button) will be duplicated on Safari on your iPhone.
