This morning it is 30 degrees Fahrenheit with frost on the ground where I live. I am wondering how to best style the cropped lengths of jeans/pants for cold weather. From an asthetic point of view, I like to have some ankle skin showing, but my poor ankles are cold this morning! I know Angie has mentioned before using nude-for-you knee highs, but I am wondering if there are any other ideas. Is it ok to completely bridge the gap between footwear and cropped pant hem when it is cold such as with high shaft booties, or does that just end up looking like the pants are too short and not in an intentional good way? What about socks bridging the gap? Or would that be frumpy?

How do you plan to keep your ankles warm this winter?
