You saw me wear short light grey flat booties on my Japan trip because they are 12 hour city walking shoes. (You can see them in the outfit below).
I wore them on the flights too, and coming back from Japan - the bloke sitting next to me spilled coke all over the one shoe, and splattered the other. Loads of stains :(. My sweet, Greg, who knows I like to keep my things as new and as pristine looking as possible, said: "Don't worry. We can get you new booties. You have had these for a long time".
Well. I came home and smothered the boots in water water that I applied with a very damp soft white cloth. They dried overnight and to my surprise, no more stains. I am not overly in love with the way these boots look because they have too much detailing for my liking (I wish they were plainer), but they are *extremely* comfortable. And I have to hold onto comfortable city walking shoes as they are not easy to find!
