Tossing a coin you have a 50-50 chance of getting heads.
So I was going to post this as a WIW, but then I saw the pictures.
Backstory, this weekend Baby & Company, a local boutique was having a pop-up warehouse sale. This boutique was on the route I took part of the SSIF on a tour of Belltown.
Today everything was an extra 20% off.
I found these really cool oxford mules by a new to me brand, Ter et Bantine. Their made in Italy, the leather is soft and footbed is cushioned. I really wanted a pair of mules for summer and spring, these were off-kilter enough for me. So this was the heads.
I browsed through the clothes and almost nothing appealed to me. Then I found these made in Italy jeans. I really liked the light, non-distressed wash. Especially the exposed button front. The cuffs are held up by grommets and the silver strip is actually reflective.
They had a communal dressing room, and there were already three women in it. There was a saleswoman who seemed to be giving legitimate advice. She said they fit how they were supposed to fit. I guess I was in such a rush and probably since I was wearing a sweatshirt, I ignored the glaring muffin top. Also a bit of denial factored in, these are a size 31, I used to a size 29. Last year and extending into this year has been very stressful, so diet and exercise have fallen to the back burner. My weight is up by over 15 pounds.
Given that it was a warehouse sale, they're obviously non-returnable, so these are the tails.
I deleted the side view immediately from my camera.
Bonus eyeball cleansing shots of the tulips in the Skagit Valley north of Seattle.
