Cognac and Black finally!

I have been wanting to assemble the perfect cognac and black outfit -- Shannon put this idea in my head. So today I got my new Miz Mooz boots in the mail and immediately set to work. I put on a black Merona dress, Karen Kane beaded wool tank and a Lands End brass circle belt

I am not wearing any make up so forgive me, but what do you think?

No Krista those are not my new boots. I made a mistake initially -- your boots have more button details but they are very similar to mine and very cute! Have you worn them yet?

Fantastic and so giddily happy for you, Day Vies! I also got my new and first pair of Miz Mooz boots today, too!!!! Anyway, yeah, this outfit totally rocks. You keep the details and overall canvas simple and that beautiful belt takes command of the whole look. Proportions, colors, etc--it all works out effectively. My kind of outfit.

DV - I've had my boots almost a year now. I bought them when I was in LA last January. I don't wear them as much as I'd like because they are pretty high, but they're still loads of fun to look at when they're just sitting in my closet. I would buy another pair of Miz Mooz boots in a second - maybe just a smaller heel next time!
Looking forward to seeing all of your outfits with them!

(Day Vies--I am wearing my new gray boots as we speak--I am so in love with them. The leather is so soft and supple, and they're a dream on my feet. Just waiting for another package to arrive today--a grey shell--so that I can try styling together and post pics.)

Mochi -- I saw your boots while I was browsing and the gray color is divine. I agree that the leather is SO supple and soft making them very comfortable right out of the box. I have a wide foot and boots are usually a challenge -- I can always get enough length but width is usually in short supply so the rounded toe is a ridiculously comfortable style for me. It's a shame that they are not marketed as wide width; I would have purchased several pairs by now if I had only known.
