I am a coffee fiend - and snob. We have an espresso machine and I always have coffee for breakfast. Flat white is my most common choice. No sugar for me. Jon is a better barista then me but I am okay. I have a few cups that I love to use.

I usually have a second and rarely a third coffee- but I don’t drink coffee after 2pm. I regularly have one at a cafe or at home by myself - not often takeaway because of the waste and I don’t like to drink on the run.

When away from home we take a French Press. I like that too!

I do drink English tea (with milk) but sporadically - Later in the afternoon, or at night. I could go a week without drinking tea. I enjoy tea but my heart belongs to coffee. I drink herbal and fruit teas too, and Green Tea with Chinese meals.

I don’t really like Hot Chocolate - not my thing. I occasionally drink bone broth and in winter drink hot water.

NZ was traditionally a tea nation but we have fully embraced coffee culture - lots of independent cafe and roasters. Wonderful espresso can be found in the small towns and villages too.

How about you - coffee, tea, chocolate or something else hot?
