Hi

This is just the wrong time of year to be looking for dresses in Norway. I have an option to go to Oasis and Monsoon but I hate giving up an evening with my girls to look more.

So I am going for the black dress I have. I bought nice straps for it and have adjusted it to show less chest. And here I model with my comfy dancing shoes and hair up.

Comments, please? Is this ok now?

I really like this on you! You look terrific, and the dress is very pretty. The hairdo is adding to the more classic style, and you are very pretty with it. The shoes are very nice, but if you want, you could substitute them with something metallic instead. Silver sandals, maybe? Do you have a topper?

Thanks, I do love this dress and after seeing all the stuff out there, yes, this is the one I will feel happiest in.

As for a topper I have two choices, A sheer almost cropped jacket and a silver scarf/shawl with a silver fur trim. Let's see I have pix of the items but not on me....

SO now that the dress is approved, I can model these another day. Late here. This is taking quite the effort, but it should pay off, heh?

Sorry I'm late but the the dress looks fabulous! Jayne the shoulder straps make quite a difference. You look elegant and sophisticated with a sense of fun. So glad you Re all sorted:)

I loved this dress the first time you posted it and I still love it.... and I really like those shoes too. Those are the comfortable dancing shoes, right?

I think the adjustments you've made are great. The dress looks super now! I'd be leaning towards the organza topper just because it picks up on the gauzy look of the dress. I hope you have a wonderful time in Paris, and just think, all the money you saved by not buying a new dress can go towards some shopping there!

I haven't been able to follow every one of your posts, but of what I've seen this would have been my favorite. I love the cut, the colors, and the sassy but svelte look of it. YAY for your closet!

That sounds like a great idea, and though I missed this dress before, I think it fits the bill perfectly. Do you need those shoes for dancing? If so, I get it. but If you have some metallic strappy sandals that would look nice too. How about doing a little Parisian Chic and wearing a little cashmere or merino cardi with your dress for a wrap? And maybe some diamonds for your ears? Just some thoughts.

I know I"m late but I really think this is the right choice - it looks great, you look happy in it and the organza cropped sheer jacket would be amazing (but not with red accessories IMO, I'd go with something more tonal like silver or grey blue in this case to pick up on the jacket color and the dress details again).
