I had two of my colleagues get married last month. There was a fair bit of overlap between the two crowds, so I had to come up with two separate outfits. I tried on many many dresses in stores, but then decided on these two options.
Pictures 1 and 2: wedding #1
I borrowed this dress from my sister. I had worn it once before, so I knew it was a safe FFBO. It looks a bit wrinkly in the pictures, but less form-fitting and forgiving in real, thanks particularly to the chiffon outer layer.
Pictures 3 and 4: wedding #2
This dress is a true vintage. Belonged to my grandmother, circa 50s, I think. It is impeccably made. Much better than anything I tried on in the stores. I went with true vintage styling, hence the pearls. This wedding was a lot of fun, we danced late into the night.
