I love the shape and feel of this coat. It is perfect for you!

You look amazing in this coat! So many people wear dark-colored winter coats, at least in my neck of the woods. Your coat would stand out as refreshing and elegant way in the midst of winter.

Love this on you.

I like it & as much as I love navy & ink wool coats I fear they will attract lint like black.

LOVE IT!!!! I want one too. I tried one on, in navy, during a prior year and have kicked myself ever since for not buying it.

You are so lucky to get the 25% off. I keep checking the site but that coat is never included.

Oooh Viv, this is a winner for sure!! Stunning coat, and absolutely gorgeous on you (I saw the coat irl while shopping with Angie, and agree that the colour is exquisite). This is a keeper for sure, and I'm holding thumbs that a fab ink blue coat will cross your path later this season too. Here's to Winter coat capsules!

Please keep this one - it is fantastic on you in color and style! You look like a movie star, seriously, it's truly great.

I love this for you Viva. No soul was sucked in the making of this post.

Can you answer a couple of questions? I'm also in the market for a coat like this, have drooled over this one many times, but am SO hesitant to order a coat without trying. history of fit issues I guess. I think return postage on an item this heavy would be nuts.

Is the "neon electric flame" red? Or is it a wild and crazy (and neon) colour? I'd love a red coat, but it's so hard to tell what this one really looks like. My "neon orchid" sweater isn't neon at all, so I wonder.....Otherwise I play it safe and go navy, but I really was hoping for more of a statement.

And how is the fit? I tend to go between a M and a L, and in coats I especially stuggle... M's are often too tight across the shoulders, but I swim in L's. This one seems roomier than most, so I'm thinking the M might be the way to go if I were to give it a try.

TIA!

Hi Elizabeth,
To me, the neon electric flame is not neon. It's funny when they use those words -- sometimes they really fit, but sometimes not so much. I am still thinking about this red and may go back tomorrow to try it on just to get the possibility out of my head. It is really really beautiful, it has blue/pink undertones, and to me, it's a real lipstick red. Bright but very luscious. It's what I call a "juicy" color, not harsh like I would expect something called "neon" to be.
As for sizing, I am wearing a 4, and it both fits well (shoulders, arms) and is also roomy (by design). I think this is a TTS coat. If you are between, I might be inclined to go down, because of the style -- it does have some built-in extra room, so going up may just be too much. (Also, the arms fit me well, but I do have long arms.) Keep in mind that this coat is sized in numbers (O, 2, 4, 6, etc.), so you'll need to go more specifically than S-M-L.
If I do go tomorrow to try on the red, I will post a picture.
I hope this is helpful.
Vivian

Thank you Vivian, that is very helpful. Bluish/pink undertones sounds just right for me. And yes, I'd love to see a picture if you go back to look. I realized after I posted that I had the type of sizing wrong. But it's very useful to know that it's TTS. I'll gamble by the chart :). If I gamble.

Adore this. It looks stylish and luxe!
