Angie, thanks for chiming in, the plaid is actually black, which is giving me some concern, as is the fabric mix, which is 45% cotton 33% wool. Hmmm. Need to think about this. Maybe they both go back….

I mostly love your white shacket - so cool! Not sure about coats - take your time deciding.

Lots of differing opinions! I like the way the plaid coat fits/looks on you in #1 and #2. Something looks off with the olive coat.

I think the plaid fits better, but have found bathrobe style coats a PIA because they unwrap in the wind.

I like the plaid one on you much better, but can’t explain why. If you aren’t sure of either, then send them both back. I spent an awful lot of time raincoat-shopping this fall, after thinking about it for a couple years, wound up getting one that didn’t fit the description at all (other than length and waterproofing) and absolutely love it, have a twinkle in my eye whenever I wear it. The same thing may happen to you.
