I abandoned my coat hunt last year- after trying on many coats with the Kenny hood phenomenon, but I'm trying again.
Who has loooong, as in knee length or maxi, warm coats this year? Most of what's labeled as long are not even knee length on the models, and I need it to layer over long cardis.
Hoping for:
Solid burgundy but would do matte black/charcoal if needed
No silver hardware
No real fur
No strong horizontal lines-puffs in rows, wide collar, cocoon or otherwise boxy shape.
<$200ish
Medium or maybe large- to fit layers
Dressy enough for daily wear-will go over workwear
Ideally returnable IRL not mail back if it doesn't work
Am I hunting a unicorn?
Eta- coat could be a puffer, wool (if not itchy), maybe a squall (if they look dressy enough), or faux shearling (with no wide collar). Also ETA- prefer no belt.
