Coat Column ETA: white - YouLookFab Forum

Today I wore a column of taupe the coat is a long Burberry trench. Booties are Blondo, gloves are Isotoner fleece lined. Tall boots are suede and over the knee or can be folded down to knee high. I have knee high wool taupe socks I can wear when it is cold and to fill out my calves a bit for a better boot fit. I know I have a taupe leather tote bag but could not find it in time to get a photo. Under the coat I have taupe cotton full length pants, a black and taupe striped shirt and a BoBeu taupe topper. CLear acrylic necklace has gold hardwear, gold hoop earrings, gold hardwear on bags. I am missing a taupe hat and would probably sub in a knit winter white beret.
I think I can make a column of navy with my dark navy puffer tomorrow . Another coat column is white. .. that may be worn on Friday when we have a really cold day and 70% chance of snow predicted.

Joy, you are amazing. When it looks like you have outdone yourself dressing so very stylish, you invariably do it again! That column is gorgeous. Sure, a white beret would be excellent.
I think I could do some coat columns, navy, cinnamon, red, but heck, I don't go anywhere to wear them. But hopefully that will change.

My wardrobe doesn’t allow for a column of colour except for black, and I can’t bear to wear an all black outfit at this time.

Thank you each for your lovely uplifting comments. I am adding another coat column, white.the puffer coats and white booties with black soles. The coat is lined in black so I have the large bag of white with black. It is leather and old.I am trying two different white hats…a beanie with a white pompom and a knit white beret. Which do you like best? It is a cold snowy day but I have not been out. The white jeans are EF and overly wrinkled but pullover.

Joy, you are SO glamorous in both these outfits! You look like a movie star visiting the Alps in the white outfit and like a movie star on set in the first one! Taupe is lovely on you. I find it an inherently elegant neutral and never more so than in this outfit!
