Clothing Swap, Consignment, etc

Ladies, I dream of a small wardrobe filled with pieces that make me feel fab...
I'm a new SAHM and want to swap/consign/donate my business casual wardrobe from my previous life to build a fab SAHM closet. Any suggestions? Tips? (PS. I'm in the SF Bay Area) Wouldn't it be cool if youlookfab had a swap/consign site?

I don't know much about consignment stores, but you could give Ebay a try. I also LOVE swap parties... last time, I just started a thread addressed to members in my area, and I got a great response. Something like "Bay Area Swap?" should get it going. I think that would be a great way to trade your business clothes for more casual items from ladies you know have fab style.

I'm not a SAHM (lucky you!) but I have been able to start being at home more, with the attendant wardrobe change.

I've used Christabelles Closet (christabellescloset.com) before for sort of mid-priced business items (Calvin Klein, Anthropologie) and places that cater to teens have taken some of my blazers and things like that (I've had good luck at Buffalo Exchange and Crossroads Trading.) For high-end designer goods I go with jillsconsignment.com.

I've hauled boxes and bags of stuff to all of these places, and I usually come back home with something new that fits my current lifestyle.
