I've had these 2 clothing pieces languishing in my closet unworn for a couple of years but during a recent seasonal closet shuffle, I was finally able to figure out a different way to actually style them so they'd suit me better. Mixing them with some of my other newer pieces and having an open eye to different silhouettes has really helped to finally revive them for me.

1) MUTED BLUE CROPPED JACKET-
The light muted colour and cropped length of this jacket always threw me off, but I think it works quite well when paired with these barrels and mary janes.

2) NAVY TOMMY HILFIGER MIDI POLO DRESS-
This dress felt kind of dark and basic so I added my cream/navy striped knit jacket as a topper and my chunky beige skecher sneakers to brighten things up.

My goal was to try and style these items to feel both relaxed and modern but comfort (especially for my aging feet) was also a top priority.

Anyone else finding different ways to style some closet orphans?
