My snow boots crowd the bottom of our hall closet. I need to pare them down. My winter coats include grey and brown down puffers, a red and a pink down puffer, and brown and mint green wool coats.
1. I only need 1 brown pair. The first picture are Aquatalia, the second are Blondo. Both have slight wear and need cleaning. Which should I keep?
2. Should I keep either of the UGGs? They are not water resistant so they are of limited utility once puddles form in parking lots. Keep? Not keep?
3. There are 2 pair of Bos Co hiking boots, (pic 4) one blue and one tan. I wear this style boot most often. They are water resistant, secure for walking on icy walkways and warm when paired with wool socks. The grey Sorrells in pic 5 have a warm furry fleece lining making them warm without wool sock. Do I keep all 3?
4. I’m keeping the tall Teva boots. They are hard to put on and take off, but they keep my feet warm and dry, are good for blizzards and coordinate with most of my coats.
I’m leaning towards keeping the brown Aquatalias, the blue hiking boots, the Sorrells, and the Tevas. I think I can easily eliminate both UGGS. I’m on the fence about the Blondos and the tan hiking boots. However, I don’t wear them very often anymore, and eliminating them would cut my collection in half, leaving space but still providing a good variety of functional choices.
