So I finally realized i’m not wearing my very high heel stilettos. Combination of I just shouldn’t wear them from and a physical standpoint & lifestyle changes. Yeah they were expensive, but they’re not doing any good collecting dust.
I sent pics to my local consignment store & she’s interested. However she’s picky, so she still might not take them

I’ve always admired your shoe collection (even though never in a million years could I wear anything that high!). I’m sure you’ll find equally fab replacements. I hope these sell for you.

Wow those are some heels.l don’t think that I’d have ever been able to walk in those.Hiwever they do look in fab condition so fingers crossed for a sale.

My word, if she (consignment person) is too picky to take those shoes I can not imagine what she would take! I just had to let off a little steam there. Tuey is very cute.

Ya, a pair of crazy high shoes went in my edit. Beautiful but impossible.

Also: it’s always nice to find a nice surprise at Goodwill if consignment doesn’t work out...

I love the blue and animal print ones! so hot. Im right with you as in editing out my high heels--cant even remember the last time I wore 2" heels...much less the 4

I hope you get something for them and use it to by fantastic flats. I never in my life wore heels like that - I would never have made it two steps without tumbling.

If the consignment lady refuses them, sell them on ebay or kijiji, you should get good money for them. And even any money you get will be therapeutic.
I salute this change in your life.

Beautiful shoes! I truly understand the pain of getting rid of amazing shoes that just don't work for us anymore; I'm holding on to a pair of Weitzman sandals, Edmundo Castillo ankle boots, and Coach pumps as art at this point in my life. As long as I have space for them, these 3 pairs will stay; all the rest had to go. (((Hugs)))

i can feel you're pain,it's hard to let go of such fab shoes, but as you say, if they aren't doing much for you if you are't wearing them....

Anna, you have the most beautiful shoe collection! If you aren't wearing the super stilettos, then consider it time to move them on to someone else who will love them too. You will find equally fab shoes as you always do.

Agree, there are so many great flats, sneaks, lower- heeled boots out there.
Plus you would be great at running a curated shoe capsule but updating it frequently with great new looks and trends, and wearing those more frequently while your enjoying them.
( says to herself who needs to edit footwear also!).

Those stilettos are would be beautiful sculptures. I can see how their role as footwear could diminish over time. It is a great season for interesting flats, so you are in luck!

Dang, I do love a great pair of heels. But I also understand practicality and comfort. Sounds like you are doing the right thing. Someone else will feel like they won the lottery with these.
