Three pairs of Zara wide leg pants in a silky, scarf-like material that is machine washable. Similar to a pajama pant style. Bought because they were on sale and they were the right length (a rarity for me).
One is green and white with a fun little ruffle around the bottom; the others a more sober mixture of brown/cream/black, sans ruffle.
I don’t wear them often, but they are great for any event where I will be standing up and thus visible from top to toe. (In other words, they make a nice change from “tabletop dressing” where the focus is on an interesting top.)
They fit ok. Like, I wouldn’t wear them just for a normal day, as the fabric has no stretch and they’re a bit constricting at waist and crotch point. They are the pants equivalent of “sitting shoes”: fine for an hour or two but you wouldn’t want to take a long plane ride in these
How are you feeling about this kind of item these days? Is “good enough” good enough? My fear is that my body changes so much, I could replace and replace everything in my closet all the time and still things wouldn’t fit “perfectly.” I guess I could just give up and wear only elastic…?
