Do they work with any of these outfits? x

If they don't work with skirts/ dresses is it the style or colour of the clogs which is the problem?
If it's the colour that doesn't work what colour would work instead as i've found some shoe dye http://www.timpson.com/shop/c/...../magix-dye and am willing to dye them x

Would it be possible to do these outfits with some kind of a bright white necklace? I think with your white watch that might bring it all together and give you a quasi-bookended look. The only one I really can't get my head around is the last one. The purple and black just doesn't leave room for white, for me.

I like them with the skinnies and the skirt, but not with the tops in those pics. I think something opart or Mondrian like top would work.

I love them with the skinnies and the leggings, Louise! How about a white top? Anna's suggestion is spot on. Like Scarlet-Rosie's suggestion of a white beaded necklace too. You need to repeat the white somewhere because you don't have white running through your hair.

I liked them with the skirt and tank the best, with the wide leg trousers coming in second. The color is a bit off putting for me. White clogs make me think of an old fashioned nurses uniform. That's probably just my own bias though. More white in the outfits will definitely help.

Are those trousers navy? I'm wondering how a navy and white striped shirt with some nautical influences would play with the clogs.

I think they're cute, but I'm wondering: if you are going to struggle with what to pair with them, or only have a few outfits that you feel comfortable wearing them with, maybe you could think about dyeing them, as you mentioned before? It seems like pretty much any color could work in terms of dye: gray, chocolate brown, cognac, navy blue...

I like them in the first and the last picture. They really need another white in the outfit to pull them off.

I like the third picture with the jeans. I prefer the clogs with something that doesn't have the clog then all bare skin.

Hee hee, isn't it the forest for the trees? Somehow in browsing the archives I came across a very funny thing that Angie said (according to Greg). May I repeat it here?

The conversation struck a chord with me because my mother-in-law speaks at least 50% in proverbs. And these are German proverbs, so think along the lines of cruel Grimm brothers fairy tales. Many of these are in dialect. It's quite challenging sometimes to discern the message.

Louise, besides repeating white in your outfit, you might try making the outfit quite tailored or modern. My untrained eye sees the clogs clashing with full skirts and ruffles unless the disparity looks deliberately done. Does that make sense? I'm picturing white pants (so that the clogs extend your leg line) and black or chocolate boyfriend blazer over a polkadot shell or something of that sort.. maybe with a simple metal cuff. However, this may not be your style or be creative enough. I think you can put together fab outfits with the white color but it will be more challenging and the result all the more rewarding because it's fresh.
