I decided to try ordering the Kelsi Dagger and Born clogs below. I LOVED how the KD pair looked, but the top of the vamp is unyielding when you walk in them — only a few paces in the store resulted in red marks across the top of my foot. The Borns felt good but I didn’t care for the style.
Maybe if I get another whim I’ll order the Andre Assous ones to try. I’m not bothering with styles that have no straps on the back to hold them on my feet — I know from old experience that backless with a stiff thick sole never goes well.
