I agree, it is likely a very unflattering pose for Mrs. Clinton's dress. It's actually pretty fitted at the bodice, and the sleeves are more sheer and fly-away than they appear. Add the low neckline (which she NEVER wears), the statement jewels, and the breezy, pretty hairstyle and I can see why they called it "glam". This is a lot different from the colored suits she usually wears.

Hilary has never been particularly good about finding flattering clothes for herself or seeming to care about fashion much, from way back when Clinton was in office until she started her run for President. Then her stylists finally got her into those coordinated suits which aren't the trendiest thing but at least get the job done and give her a powerful, mature look -- which she needs as Secretary of State. This dress is a huge departure from all of that, and I think she carried it off. For a sixty-something woman finally hitting her stride, but still aware of all her body's foibles and flaws, this is really a great look for her.
Ele, I agree, Chelsea has really grown up into a lovely young woman.
