Julie- since summer clothing is not yet fully available, I am starting with footwear. I have some options in mind already:

I also saw a couple of swimsuits that I might try:

nemosmom- breathable dresses and sandals have worked for me in the past, but aren't always the most practical for my work.
kkards- it IS hard on your wardrobe. Having enough pair of sandals to rotate makes it a little better.
rachylou- I did switch things from the back to the front of the closet, but with our weather I don't think I could pack anything away. It will be back in the 60's next week.
SF- If it's going to be this hot for that long, I will just need much more- especially of one piece dressing. Like kkards mentioned, the heat is rough on clothes- they have to be washed after each wearing due to sweat, which means they wear out more quickly. I also do a bit of walking and lots of driving and in/out of the car for work, so more wear and tear on my clothes.
Angie- we were in Portland during that heatwave, and my son was recovering from surgery. It was miserable!
