I've had these Sofft sandals (in silver) for over a year and they became summer workhorses right out of the box. After a recent trip to Italy, the sides of the white soles are really dirty, and what makes these sandals fabulous (besides the crazy-good comfort) is the stark white sole. Has anyone had good luck with a cleaning method? Thanks!

SOLUTION: a damp Scotch-Brite 2-sided scrub sponge, Bon Ami, and less than 10 minutes elbow grease for the pair, and they are back in rotation! Thanks, all!
